Dr. Panjwani School-College for the Blind


The complex has been specifically designed to cater to the educational and training needs of blind students. It is one of the most prestigious schools of its kind in the country and has emerged as the flagship of Ida Rieu. It is a co-education set up with over 300 male and female students. Education is provided from Montessori to Master’s level in the Braille format. The College is affiliated with the University of Karachi for its graduate and post-graduate programs.

The Dr. Panjwani School-College Complex was donated by Begum Nadira Panjwani in memory of her late father Dr. Mohammad Hussain Panjwani and was inaugurated by Mr. Rafiq Tarrar, President of Pakistan in Feb 2000.
